Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: Oriax hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Oriax was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: He was raised in a forest tribe. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting dire rats, the young Heian began to lead the lost caravan. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This woman is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. She has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.
Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Thea abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. During her travels, Thea and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Thea discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Thea fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
