Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When River reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theobald was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Navigator.
