History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his youth he was part of a gang. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Guard hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor.
