Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 13 years.

Personality: Pennie is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 6 years.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: Cloud hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Meena embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Through the years after Meena was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Meena's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Her addictions have taken their toll on her wallet, and she has found herself with a great deal of debt owed.
