Through the years after Skak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Skak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Skak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he usually wears his violet robe and has his bow always slung over his shoulder. His golden hair is singed and shortened. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: This woman stands a little under 5'3" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is generally shirtless and showing off her tattooed chest. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Mason father left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in the east. A gifted student she started as a Spy, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She has worked as a Mercenary like her father before her.

History: Kallista was born with her father's beautiful face. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes illithids are coming to abduct people. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a Roofer, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her hazel eyes.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Ilanis enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Ilanis has worked very hard to control her curse. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
