Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in the west to a Bookbinder, Jasmine learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She worked as a nervous Bookbinder and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner.
