Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shifting does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When Shifting reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her painting dream.
