History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Cressel was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and to unite with his sister

History: Lagazi was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lagazi fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Beggar responsibilities is difficult; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
