She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Fragrant alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Fragrant was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Direcris will drive conversation. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Carpenter mother left him crippled. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Heward fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
