History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Az-Adar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. His first spouse was a Stylist, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tieflings.

History: Valafar hails from a village terrorized by brigands. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Tiefling conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Cook.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ridaro grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She is greedy.

History: Born to a Stableman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
