History: She comes from a rich western family. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Kava alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.

History: Hlin lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Hlin took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor she uses now. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Giselle was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Giselle was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Server. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
