She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Helgret was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. After a long history of fighting, Helgret and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Born in the east to a Butcher, Adam learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital.
