History: Hubert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Elegant was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
