History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Lance grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Lance. Being a Adventurer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Kadana was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Architect work with an outfit from a few towns over. Architect work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Ownka was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has never given up on her dancing dream.
