History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he dresses like a well dressed Mason does. His auburn hair is greasy and uncared for. He has several tiny aquamarine earrings on each ear.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Fargas grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Fargas. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: Tagga was born with her mother's beautiful face. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Mason but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mason. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and expand her business

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She is used to getting what she wants. In part because she is a meticulous planner.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born to a Miner, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
