Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. After coming to the age of reason, Brottor took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Quarion was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He struck the Servant job and began his own company from there.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Quick was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Bather. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. Pûgrish is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Maiathah is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Maiathah lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Weaver they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Painter, and she later adopted a second son.

History: Gesrethe hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Gesrethe alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against goblins; and a deep hatred of goblins

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
