History: Verin lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Vaina's homeland. Vaina decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Donaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Dragonborns. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Stableman, but he got bored and became a Stylist. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: To be a Stableman again; and nothing but the best is good enough for him

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She moved out east to avoid the crime she committed. Being a Scribe kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture.
