Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. After a long history of fighting, Oren and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Susannah has worked very hard to control her curse. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Tree is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. Her job bores her to no end. She has decided to make it more interesting.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tree grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tree. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and seeks redemption

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Zaffrab hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he wants revenge against dire rats
