History: Born to a Courier, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform Being a Roofer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Nikki was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Nikki's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: He was born into a rich family. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Personality: She is mildly Half-Orc supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is greedy

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Junk Dealer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Junk Dealer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Sculptor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She would rather hide behind her crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in the south to a Navigator, Biri learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Navigator for the past few years.

Motivation: Seeks redemption.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
