History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gormogord was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
