Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Vanuath was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Weaver for the past few years.

History: Maynild hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson white hat.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Dûsh alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: The child of a Barkeep, who enjoyed hunting, Nordak was taken on many hunting expeditions. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born in the south to a Banker, Lagazi learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She's also a talented Sage, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

History: Born in the north to a Layabout, Elaim learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He tends to his Layabout job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Doctor again.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Peren is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and regain custody of his son

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Irann was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
