History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Oblar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tieflings in Hecat's homeland. Hecat decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
