History: Marastyr was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. A true patriot, Alston would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. While he appears to be a normal Half-Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He became a Unemployed soon after.

History: She is a Yochlol in disguise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tabaxi companion (her 'brother'). Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Pyntle never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. Balimaar is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gifted student he started as a Glassblower, but he got bored and became a Laborer. He became a Laborer soon after.
