History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Barbena grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
