Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Valanthe embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Valanthe lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barrister they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Locksmith, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Detective. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Calcitro grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
