She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Mella was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
