Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Ootah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many orcs want her driven away; and to be a carter again

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. Peren was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is dressed in a clean blue cloak covering his clean studded leather, and is pretty ugly. His red hair is unkempt and raggedy. His amber eyes peer out from beneath his feathered blue hat.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Fibblestib grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She is obsessed with her god.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Half-Orcs became a terror of the countryside. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bilbron grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bilbron. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Farmer.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tiefling, and stands approximately 4'10". Her fierce white eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Seere grew up listening to her father's many stories. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: This tall, slender man tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His red hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tiefling in existence. Barakas enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: Thorin is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he feels threatened by others

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Mara has worked very hard to control her curse. She found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, she put together a working one.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it.
