History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Abad was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Abad's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a Shepherd first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Shepherd.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Smoking grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Smoking. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
