History: Shamash lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Apothecary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Reeza and her spouse have recently divorced.
