His left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His ears are large.

Personality: Astar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She found a children's book about a Human Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Elysande and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Ozyman was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Engraver. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Reeza was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Reeza's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
