History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He carries with him a set of clubs on his belt, each one with a jet on the hilt. His blonde hair is knotted and matted. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nicholas fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Ownka hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Ownka alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and someone believes her a fraud

History: Ulfgar was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Marshal hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and to find somewhere to settle down

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
