He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Nykkan was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Tiefling in existence. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kali studied abroad. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Kali never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Carrie and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
