Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Oren lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Courier who has hired her part-time. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Courier arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: The child of a Painter, who enjoyed hunting, Qualen was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: She has a good heart but also a terrible temper. She will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Born to a Ploughman, her father struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. She now owns her own business.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
