History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aline. She tends to her Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born in a small island village. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
