The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'9" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Her golden hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a card scrunchie. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Jocelyn was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Armorer for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Armorer responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alain embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted psionic powers by her dying brother.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Kelter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Kelter was born with his father's beautiful face. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. After a long history of fighting, Kelter and his spouse have recently divorced.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his lance, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His hair, while still mostly dark red, has prominent grey streaks. His white unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Sammal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Sammal was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Kabbarg has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: Phann wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and regain custody of her daughter

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Oriel abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She now owns her own business.
