History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Soapmaker mother left her crippled. She now mingles about in high society.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: Hadwisa was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has achieved small success as a Slave Trader.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bricklayer for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and many dire rats want him driven away
