His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Harbek and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Soapmaker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Soapmaker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her painting dream.
