History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. After coming to the age of reason, Thiala took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by her family.
