History: The child of a Baker, who enjoyed hunting, Balimaar was taken on many hunting expeditions. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A freak accident while working with her Baker father left her crippled. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and to unite with her sister

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sage. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

History: Leshanna was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Rinn was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Tomph alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and many gnolls want her driven away
