History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Fax was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Fax took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.
