Description: A 3'3" southern woman, she likes to wear tan tank tops with black skirt. She has brown hair. Her brown eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mardnab took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: She was born at the edge of vast island. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a black costume with the symbols of magic on her torso and is in decent physical shape. Her scarlet crest has been sun bleached extensively. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Through the years after Arava was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Arava's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She's also a talented Beggar, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to be a beggar again

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'2" when asserting himself. His silver hair is heavily combed to the left. He has amber eyes and a yellow hat with a pastel feather.
Personality: He is a Sage first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Sage. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Veit is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
