Personality: Emerald is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.
History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: A stocky darker skinned woman, she likes to wear tan tank tops with brown skirt. She has moderate length brown hair. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.
Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: Veloptima was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Veloptima abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she's looking for her big break

Description: This tall, slender woman likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her black hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: She was raised in a mountains tribe. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She bought a ceremonial dagger and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
Motivation: To clean up the streets.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered
History: Ida was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Ida and her spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: Lance was born the youngest of three triplets. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Spring hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He worked as a nervous Jeweler and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Fisher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: She wears green leather gloves, a green jacket, and tight pants. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her monstrous two handed axe, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. She wears her scarlet crest down. She has a tattooed face.
Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.
History: Darrow hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
