Rael grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rael. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

The war was a terrible time for her, and Ea does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle; and she feels kind of lost in life
