When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Fletcher hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Map Maker. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lone was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
