Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Laborer responsibilities is difficult; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is wracked by social anxiety

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Elaim decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Elaim fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
