He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: This malnourished man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His crest is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. While he appears to be a normal Dragonborn, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: Manea speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. The war was a terrible time for her, and Manea does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Manea alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants revenge against orcs

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Knight hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Dondon was born the youngest of three triplets. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ielenia alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Ielenia was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Tiefling people; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and regain custody of her daughter
