When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mercenary hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Locksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their son. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Anselm embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Born in the north to a Barkeep, Anselm learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Barkeep. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Barkeep for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She got into the Knight business at a young age. A gifted student she started as a Miner, but she got bored and became a Knight. She's also a talented Miner, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Marigold was born in the south. At a young age she loved to build and create. Marigold abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has never given up on her music dream.

History: Gifted from a young age, Nikki studied abroad. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. After a long history of fighting, Nikki and her spouse have recently divorced.
