History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Sapply alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Gardener. She struck the Gardener job and began her own company from there.

Personality: Her voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl she speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of her tone. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student she started as a Spice Merchant, but she got bored and became a Slave Trader. She struck the Slave Trader job and began her own company from there.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to be a marshal again

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Bhevek took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up pickaxe and armor he uses now. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Performer for the past few years.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the divine powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
