History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Vanuath's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 18th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Lilith was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Shipwright hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 20. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Guard. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Guard. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now mingles about in high society.
