One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: Standing 6'5", this man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Abad alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Abad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 54. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to get a good night's sleep
